Hi, I’m Hibak Hassan (she/her), an Occupational Therapist, a late-identified AuDHD individual, and a passionate advocate for neurodiversity and mental health.

I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise into my work. I’ve spent years working in the public sector at the Royal Children’s Hospital, within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), supporting young people with developmental differences, trauma histories, and mental health challenges.
I also provide Autism assessments within public care settings, which deepened my understanding of the diagnostic journey and the importance of safe, affirming spaces.

Alongside my work with children and teens, I also support neurodivergent adults — particularly those navigating mental health challenges, late-identification, or burnout. I’m passionate about creating spaces where neurodivergent people feel seen, understood, and supported without pressure to mask or fit a mould.

Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, singing and writing songs, walking or drawing. I can't keep count of all my hobbies! There are too many!
My two fluffy Ragdoll cats — Blanket and Pillow — are my constant companions, and I firmly believe that a good cuddle with a cat can be a kind of therapy too.

About

Haven Hues Therapy was created with this in mind:
A space that feels like a haven — where you feel held, heard, and supported.
A haven that celebrates all the ways people show up in the world — their colours, their contradictions, their complexity.

A haven — for those who are tired of masking and tired of burning out.
A haven — for joy, for softness, for reclaiming your rhythm.
A haven — to welcome your hues, to support your hues, to celebrate your hues.

It’s also a place of hues. The quiet ones. The vivid ones. The ones that shift in different light.
We believe every person carries a palette that is entirely their own and at Haven Hues we honour that.
We are committed to providing neuroaffirming, culturally safe, and person-led support that values each individual’s lived experience. We believe in moving at your pace, honouring your needs, and creating space for you to show up exactly as you are — without masking or shrinking.

Our Values
✨ Curiosity
We’re deeply curious about your inner world. We learn from your lived experience to co-create safe spaces where exploration is welcome and difference is celebrated.

✨ Authenticity
We show up as we are and invite you to do the same — whether that means stimming, needing silence, or asking big questions. There’s room for your full self here.

✨ Advocacy
We walk alongside you in systems that may not fully understand your needs, amplifying your voice and choices. We care deeply about neurodivergent wellbeing.

✨ Trauma-Informed
We know many carry stories of being misunderstood or harmed. We prioritise safety, trust, and regulation — moving gently and always respecting your boundaries.

✨ Culturally Safe
Your culture, language, neurotype, gender, and history matter. We listen deeply and hold space for all of who you are, with humility, reflection, and care.

✨ Person-Led
You’re the expert in your own life. We follow your lead and tailor support to your goals. For children, we collaborate closely with the people who know them best.

✨ Joy
Joy is healing. Joy is your right. We welcome laughter, creativity, and ease — not as something to earn, but as something you inherently deserve.
