FAMILY AND SYSTEMS SUPPORT

Holding the wider village around neurodivergent children and their people

👪 PARENT SUPPORT

Because parenting isn’t meant to be done alone.

Whether you're neurodivergent yourself, parenting a neurodivergent child, or feeling overwhelmed — we’re here to walk alongside you.

  • Understand your child’s sensory and emotional needs

  • Child focused parent therapy

  • Co-regulation and everyday rhythm support

  • Compassionate space for your own processing and wellbeing

At Haven Hues, we want to be part of your village.

🏫 SUPPORTING "SCHOOL CAN'T"

When school feels like too much — or just not the right fit — we can help.

We work alongside families and young people navigating school distress and disengagement (sometimes called “school refusal,” but we know that’s not the whole story).

  • Support understanding what’s happening for your child

  • Liaise with schools, advocate, and unpack school-based stressors

  • Help you and your child explore environments that honour their style and learning.

  • Support with transitions, alternatives, and navigating next steps

Why we use “school can’t” instead of “school refusal”. At Haven Hues we want to shift the focus away from blaming the child for their non-attendance and towards understanding and addressing the underlying reasons for their inability to attend school.

Haven Hues acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which our services are located, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and are committed to improving the overall health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We honor the ongoing strength and resilience of First Nations People in the fight for self-determination. This was and always will be Aboriginal land. We thank them for protecting this beautiful land and its ecosystems since time immemorial. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
